Sarah Born

Sarah was born in Hamburg in 1982 and grew up in Spain and Germany. She studied cultural sciences at the ‘Europa Universität Viadrina’ in Frankfurt (Oder) and Granada. In 2005, she worked at Nicole Gerhards production company Niko Film Berlin. From 2007–2011, she was in the sales and acquisition department of First Hand Films. She is a member of the EWA Network, the European Producers Club and is a Eurodoc as well as EAVE Alumni. She is in the National Film Commission.
Rajko Jazbec

Rajko was born in Slovenia in 1982 and grew up in the mountains of Switzerland. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Business. In 2004, he began directing and producing films while also working in other fields such as the financial industries. He is a member of the Swiss & European Film Academy, an ACE Producers Network and Inside Pictures alumni and the Co-President of the Producers Association IG Independent Swiss Film Producers.
Dario Schoch

Born in Switzerland in 1980, Dario has found his way to film making through theatre. After having graduated in mass communication and contemporary history from the universities of Fribourg and Madrid, he worked for the biggest theater festival in Switzerland for six years. In 2012 he graduated with a Master of Arts in Film Production at ZHdK. He lived in Spain, India and Sweden. He is a Member and Alumni of EAVE. Dario is also the founder and co-director of PORNY DAYS, a film and performance festival dedicated to all aspects of sexuality.
Philippe Grob

Producer
Philippe Grob grew up in Bern Switzerland. After graduating in mass communications and economics in 2010 at the university of Fribourg he started working in television and film. For the last ten years he has been working as a producer and documentary director at and for Swiss Radio and Television. In 2018 he studied producing, screenwriting and directing at the UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) and from 2019 to 2021 Philippe conducted the master of arts in creative film production at the Zurich University of the Arts.
Esra Tas

Project Coordinator / Junior Producer
Esra was born in Switzerland and has Turkish and Kurdish roots. After completing her commercial apprenticeship, she worked in the event management and as legal assistant. She studied BA digital film production at the SAE Institute in Zurich with a focus in production. After her studies she produced a documentary and a fiction feature-length film as freelance producer before joining Catpics.
Inken Blum

Assistant to the Producers
Inken was born in Germany and moved to Switzerland in 2015. She studied Cultural Anthropology and Film Studies at the University of Zurich and graduated in 2023 with a Master of Arts in Social Sciences. During her studies, she worked in event management at various cultural institutions and as a research assistant. In addition to her work with Catpics, since 2024 she also holds the position of Head of Industry at Internationale Kurz-filmtage Winterthur, Switzerland's major short film festival.

Best Buddy
Whisky was born and raised in Singapore. After he moved to Switzerland with his first family, there was a dispute and he was forced to the animal shelter. Quickly he was warmly welcomed by his new family. He studied social sciences at the Ohana Dog University in Zurich. Today he works as a private sniffer and as a therapy dog. He loves to be petted and cuddled.
